இப்பயிற்சியானது பிரசவத்திற்கு முந்தைய பராமரிப்பு, பிரசவத்திற்குப் பிந்தைய பராமரிப்பு, கருவுறுதலுக்கு முந்தைய பராமரிப்பு ஆகிய பாரம்பரிய ஆயுர்வேதக் கோட்பாடுகளைக் கொண்டதாகும். திங்கள் முதல் வெள்ளி வரை பிற்பகல் 3 மணி முதல் மாலை 5 மணிவரை 6 மாத கால நேரடி வாயிலான பயிற்சித் திட்டமாக இது வடிவமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
இப்பயிற்சியில் பங்கேற்பவர்களுக்கு கர்ப்ப காலத்தில் ஒவ்வொரு பருவத்திற்கேற்ற உணவு முறைகள், வாழ்க்கை முறை மாற்றங்கள், கர்ப்பக் காலத்தில் பாதுகாப்பான யோகா முறைகள், பிரசவத்தின்போது உணர்வுப்பூர்வமான ஆதரவு, பச்சிளம் குழந்தைகளை கையாளுதல், உயிர்காக்கும் நடைமுறை குறித்து கற்பிக்கப்படுகிறது. அத்துடன் தொற்றுத் தடுப்பு, சுகாதாரப் பராமரிப்பு, உயிரி மருத்துக்கழிவு மேலாண்மை, பணியிடப் பாதுகாப்பு ஆகியவை குறித்தும் பாடத்திட்டத்தில் இடம்பெற்றுள்ளது. Eligibility for Admission
• 10+2 Passed from any recognized Board by Government of India
• Candidates interested in maternal and women healthcare may apply
