]]>விருதுநகர் மாவட்ட ஆட்சியர் அலுவலகம் எதிரே தமிழ்நாடு பெண்கள் கல்லூரி என்ற பெயரில் தனியார் கல்லூரி நடத்தப்படுகிறது. இங்கு பி.இ.எம்.எஸ், கேட்டரிங், பி.எஸ்.சி, எம்.சி.டி உள்ளிட்ட பல்வேறு பிரிவுகள் நடத்தப்படுவதாகவும் விளம்பரம் செய்யப்பட்டது. மேலும், பெற்றோர்களின் செல்போன் எண்ணைத் தொடர்பு கொண்டும் இக்கல்லூரியில் சேர்க்கக் கோரியுள்ளனர்.
இதனை நம்பிய சிவகங்கை, சென்னை, பாண்டிச்சேரி, தேனி, திண்டுக்கல் உள்ளிட்ட பல்வேறு மாவட்டங்களைச் சேர்ந்த பெற்றோர்கள் தங்களது பிள்ளைகளை இங்கு சேர்த்துள்ளனர். வருட கட்டணமாக ரூ.50 ஆயிரம் வரை ஒவ்வொரு மாணவரிடமும் தனியார் கல்லுரி நிர்வாகம் வசூலித்துள்ளது. இந்நிலையில், கல்லூரியில் போதிய இட வசதி இல்லையெனவும், விடுதியில் அளவுக்கு அதிகமாக மாணவிகளை தங்க வைத்துள்ளதாகவும், தமிழ்நாடு என பெயர் வைத்ததால் அரசு கல்லூரியென நம்பி சேர்ந்து விட்டதாகவும் கூறி மாணவிகள் மற்றும் பெற்றோர்கள் மாவட்ட ஆட்சியர் அலுவலகத்தை முற்றுகையிட்டனர்.
தகவலறிந்து விரைந்து வந்த போலீசார், பெற்றோர் மற்றும் சில மாண விகள் மாவட்ட ஆட்சியரை சந்தித்து மனு அளிக்க ஏற்பாடுகளைச் செய்தனர். மனுவைப் பெற்றுக் கொண்ட மாவட்ட ஆட்சியர் ஜெயசீலன், உரிய நடவடிக்கை எடுப்பதாக தெரிவித்தார். இதையடுத்து மாணவ, மாணவிகள் மற்றும் பெற்றோர்கள் அங்கிருந்து கலைந்து சென்றனர்.
அப்போது பெற்றோர்கள் தரப்பில் கூறியதாவது:
”தனியார் கல்லூரி நிர்வாகத்தினர் எங்களிடம் பேசுகையில், ஒன்றிய அரசின் அனுமதி பெற்று இந்தக் கல்லூரி நடத்தப்படுவதாக தெரிவித்தனர். ஆனால், தற்போது ஆவணங்களை கேட்டால், காட்ட மறுக்கின்றனர். மேலும், ஒரு அறையில் 67 மாணவிகளை தங்க வைத்துள்ளனர். இதனால், எங்கள் குழந்தைகள் புறப்படவே காலதாமதம் ஏற்படுகிறது. மேலும், உணவுகள் சரியாக வழங்கவில்லை. கல்லூரி எனக் கூறிவிட்டு சாதாரண இடத்தில் வைத்து வகுப்பு நடத்துகின்றனர்.
