மணிப்பூர் மாநிலத்தில் மே 3 ஆம் தேதி வன்முறைகள் தொடங்கின. மே 4 ஆம் தேதியன்றே பல்வேறு இடங்களில் பழங்குடி மக்கள் மீதான தாக்குதல்கள், பாலியல் வல்லுறவு மற்றும் கும்பல் கொலைகளும் நடந்தேறியுள்ளன. இதுவரை அந்த மாநிலத்தில் 160க்கும் அதிகமானவர்கள் கொல்லப்பட்டுள்ளனர், ஆயிரக்கணக்கானோர் படுகாயமுற்றுள்ளனர்; சுமார் 50 ஆயிரம் பேர் உள்நாட்டிலேயே அகதிகளாக முகாம்களில் தங்கவைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளனர். 350 தேவாலயங்களும், சுமார் 20 கோயில்களும் பிற வழிபாட்டுத்தலங்களும் சூறையாடப்பட்டுள்ளன. இந்தக் கொடூரங்களை கண்டித்து பிரதமர் மோடி வாய் திறக்க வேண்டும், பாஜக மாநில அரசு பதவி விலக வேண்டும்; உடனடியாக அமைதி திரும்புவதற்கான நடவடிக்கைகள் மேற்கொள்ள வேண்டுமென எதிர் கட்சிகள் பலமுறை வலியுறுத்தின.
ஆனால், பிரதமர் மோடியோ கர்நாடக மாநில தேர்தல் பிரச்சாரத்தில் தீவிரம் காட்டினார், மணிப்பூரின் மக்கள் பிரதிநிதிகள் அவரை சந்திக்க நேரம் கேட்டு காத்திருந்த போதிலும், அவர்களைச் சந்திப்பதை தவிர்த்துவிட்டு அமெரிக்காவிற்கு பயணப்பட்டார், வந்தே பாரத் ரயில்களுக்கு கொடியசைத்து பகட்டான விழாக்களை நடத்தினார், பிறகு பிரான்சு நாட்டிற்கு பறந்துவிட்டார். இப்போது நாடாளுமன்ற கூட்டம் நடக்கவுள்ள சூழலில் மணிப்பூரின் கொடூர நிலைமை பற்றிய வீடியோ வெளியாகியது. இந்த சூழலிலேயே இரண்டரை மாதங்களுக்கு பின் பிரதமர் வாய் திறந்து பேசியிருக்கிறார்.
இப்போது வெளியாகியிருக்கும் காணொளி கடந்த மே மாதம் 4 ஆம் தேதி பதிவானதாகும். இந்த சம்பவம் தொடர்பாக மே 18 ஆம் தேதியே முதல் தகவல் அறிக்கை பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டுவிட்டது. ஆனாலும் குற்றமிழைத்த எவருடைய பெயரும் அதில் இடம்பெறவில்லை. அங்கு நடைபெற்றுவரும் கொடூரங்கள் எதுவும் அரசு நிர்வாகத்திற்கு தெரியாமலில்லை. சூழலை விளக்குவதற்காக பிரதமரை சந்திக்க நேரம் கேட்டிருந்த மக்கள் பிரதிநிதிகளிடம் பேச மறுத்துவிட்டார்.
சி.பி.ஐ(எம்) உள்ளிட்ட இடதுசாரி கட்சிகளின் சார்பில் நாடாளுமன்ற உறுப்பினர்கள் நேரில் சென்று மக்களுக்கு ஆறுதல் தெரிவித்ததுடன் உண்மை நிலையை விசாரித்து வெளிப்படுத்தினார்கள். அதில் பாஜக/ஆர்.எஸ்.எஸ் வெறுப்பு அரசியல் திட்டம் எந்த அளவுக்கு மக்களை மோதிக்கொள்ளச் செய்திருக்கிறது என்பது வெளிப்படையாக தெரியவந்தது. எல்லாவற்றையும் பாராமுகமாக கடந்து சென்ற பிரதமர், மூடி மறைக்க முயன்ற கொடூரத்தில் ஒரு சிறு பகுதி அம்பலப்பட்டுவிட்டதே என்ற அதிர்ச்சியில்தான் இப்போது பேசியுள்ளார். இதன் பின்னரும் கூட மணிப்பூர் மக்களுக்கு அமைதியான சூழலை உறுதி செய்து, வாழ்வாதாரங்களை மறுகட்டமைக்க எந்த உருப்படியான முயற்சியும் பாஜக/ஆர்.எஸ்.எஸ் அரசால் முன்னெடுக்கப்படவில்லை.
மணிப்பூரில் உள்ள மாநில பாஜக அரசு, பதவியில் நீடித்திருக்க எள்ளளவும் அருகதையாற்றதாகும். இதுவரை நடந்துள்ள கொடூரங்களுக்கு மணிப்பூர் முதலமைச்சரும், பிரதமர் மோடியுமே பொறுப்பேற்க வேண்டும். இப்படிப்பட்ட இரட்டை எஞ்சின் கொடூரத்திற்கு எதிராக ஜனநாயக எண்ணம் கொண்ட அனைவரும் குரல்கொடுக்க வேண்டுமென சி.பி.ஐ(எம்) மாநில செயற்குழு கேட்டுக்கொள்கிறது. ஜனநாயக இயக்கங்கள் முன்னெடுக்கும் போராட்டங்களை ஆதரித்து, வெறுப்பு அரசியலுக்கு எதிரான உறுதியை வெளிப்படுத்த வேண்டுமென அறைகூவி அழைக்கிறோம்.
