இந்நிலையில் ஒன்றிய அரசின் இந்த இந்தி திணிப்பிற்கு தி.மு.க கடும் எதிர்ப்பு தெரிவித்துள்ளது. அகில இந்திய வானொலியை ‘ஆகாஷ்வாணி’ என்று இந்தியில் மட்டும் பயன்படுத்தும் உத்தரவை உடனடியாக திரும்பப் பெற வேண்டும் என ஒன்றிய அரசுக்கு நாடாளுமன்ற தி.மு.க குழுத் தலைவர் டி.ஆர்.பாலு கடிதம் மூலம் வலியுறுத்தியுள்ளார்.

அந்த கடிதத்தில், “அகில இந்திய வானொலியை ‘ஆகாஷ்வாணி’ என்று இந்தியில் மட்டும் பயன்படுத்தும் உத்தரவு தேவையில்லாத ஒன்று . தமிழ்நாடு உட்பட பல்வேறு மாநில வானொலிகளில் அகில இந்திய வானொலி, ஆல் இந்தியா ரேடியோ என்ற வார்த்தைகள்தான் பயன்படுத்தப்படுகின்றன.

மாநிலச் செய்திகளில் அகில இந்திய வானொலி என்றும், ஆங்கில செய்திகளில் ஆல் இந்தியா ரேடியோ என்றும் பயன்படுத்தப்படுகின்றன. வானொலி என்பது ஆகாஷ்வாணி என்ற வார்த்தையின் தமிழ் சொல்லே ஆகும் . இதை மாற்ற வேண்டும் என்ற உத்தரவுகள் தேவையில்லாதவை.

ஒன்றிய அரசின் உத்தரவுக்கு தமிழ்நாட்டில் பொதுமக்கள் இடையேயும், அரசியல் கட்சியினர் இடையேயும் கடும் எதிர்ப்பு எழுந்துள்ளது. இந்த விவகாரத்தில் ஒன்றிய அமைச்சர் அனுராக் சிங் தாக்கூர் தலையிட்டு, முன்பிருந்த நிலையே நீடிக்க நடவடிக்கை எடுக்க வேண்டும்” என்று வலியுறுத்தியுள்ளார்.
