“ஒடிசாவில் நடந்த ரயில் விபத்தினால் மிகுந்த வேதனை அடைந்துள்ளேன். துயரமான இந்த தருணத்தில், உயிரிழந்தவர்களின் குடும்பத்தினருடன் எனது எண்ணங்கள் இருக்கின்றன. காயமடைந்தவர்கள் விரைவில் குணமடைய பிரார்த்திக்கிறேன். ரயில்வே துறை அமைச்சர் திரு அஷ்வினி வைஷ்ணவ் அவர்களிடம் பேசி நிலைமையை கேட்டறிந்தேன். சம்பவ இடத்தில் மீட்புப் பணிகள் துரிதமாக நடைபெற்று வருகின்றன. பாதிக்கப்பட்டவர்களுக்கு அனைத்து உதவிகளும் செய்யப்பட்டு வருகின்றன” என்று பதிவிட்டுள்ளார்.
ஒடிசா ரயில் விபத்தில் உயிரிழந்தவர்களின் குடும்பத்தினருக்கு பிரதமரின் தேசிய நிவாரண நிதியிலிருந்து(PMNRF) நிவாரண உதவி தொகையை பிரதமர் மோடி அறிவித்துள்ளார்.
பிரதமர் அலுவலகம் வெளியிட்டுள்ள ட்விட்டர் பதிவில், “ஒடிசாவில் நடந்த ரயில் விபத்தில் உயிரிழந்தவர்களின் குடும்பத்தினருக்கு பிரதமரின் தேசிய நிவாரண நிதியிலிருந்து(PMNRF) 2 லட்சம் ரூபாய் நிவாரணமாக வழங்கப்படும். காயமடைந்தவர்களுக்கு 50,000 ரூபாய் வழங்கப்படும்” என்று அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
