2023-24 ஆம் ஆண்டுக்கான பட்ஜெட் உரையில், “அடுத்த 3 ஆண்டுகளில், 1 கோடி விவசாயிகள் இயற்கை விவசாயத்தை பின்பற்ற வசதி செய்யப்படும்” என்று அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இதற்காக, 10,000 உயிர் உள்ளீட்டு வள மையங்கள் (பி.ஆர்.சி) அமைக்கப்படும். உள்ளூர் கால்நடைகள் அடிப்படையிலான இயற்கை விவசாய இடுபொருட்களை தொடர்ந்து வழங்குவதற்காக இந்த பி.ஆர்.சி.க்கள் அமைக்கப்படும்.
