]]>விழுப்புரம் மாவட்டம், கோலியனூர் ஒன்றியம், மேல்பாதி கிராமத்தில் இந்து அறநிலையத்துறை கட்டுப்பாட்டில் உள்ள திரௌபதி அம்மன் கோவிலில் தலித் மக்கள் கோவிலுக்குள் சென்று இறைவழிபாடு நடத்த அனுமதிக்கப்படுவதில்லை. இந்தாண்டு கோவில் திருவிழாவின் போது கோவிலுக்குள் சென்ற தலித் இளைஞர் கதிரவன் என்பவர் கடுமையாகத் தாக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதுடன் சாதியைச் சொல்லி இழிவாகத் திட்டி அவமானப்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளார். இச்சம்பவம் குறித்து வழக்குப் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டிருந்தும் இதுவரை தாக்குதல் தொடுத்தவர்கள் யாரும் கைது செய்யப்படவில்லை.

இந்நிலையில் தலித் மக்களின் வழிபாட்டு உரிமையை மறுக்கும் இதர சமூகத்தினரை சில அரசியல் கட்சியினர், அரசியல் ஆதாயத்திற்காக தூண்டிவிட்டு கிராமத்தில் சுமூக நிலைமை ஏற்படாமல் தடுத்து வருகின்றனர். விழுப்புரம் மாவட்ட அதிகாரிகள் இப்பிரச்சனையில் தலித் மக்களின் அடிப்படை உரிமையை நிலைநாட்டிட தொடர்ந்து தயக்கம் காட்டி வருகின்றனர். இதன் விளைவாக இம்மாவட்டத்தில் பல கிராமங்களில் தலித் மக்கள் கோவிலுக்குள் சென்று வழிபடும் உரிமை தொடர்ந்து மறுக்கப்படுகிறது. நாகரீக உலகில் இத்தகைய கொடுமைகள் நீடிப்பது ஏற்புடையதல்ல.
எனவே, தமிழ்நாடு அரசு தலையிட்டு தலித் மக்களின் உரிமைகளை நிலைநாட்டும் வகையில் இக்கிராமத்தில் நிலவும் தீண்டாமை கொடுமைகளுக்கு முடிவுகட்டுவதோடு திரௌபதி அம்மன் கோவிலுக்குள் தலித் மக்கள் சென்று வழிபடுவதற்கு உரிய நடவடிக்கைகள் மேற்கொள்ள வேண்டும். குறிப்பாக, மாவட்ட அதிகாரிகள் இப்பிரச்சனையில் உறுதியான நடவடிக்கை மேற்கொள்ள தமிழ்நாடு அரசு அவர்களை வற்புறுத்திட வேண்டும். ஏற்கனவே கதிரவன் தாக்கப்பட்ட வழக்கில் சம்பந்தப்பட்டவர்களை கைது செய்திடவும் உரிய நடவடிக்கை மேற்கொள்ள வேண்டுமென கேட்டுக் கொள்கிறோம்.
இதுபோன்றே இம்மாவட்டத்தில் வேறுசில கோவில்களில் தலித் மக்களுக்கு வழிபாட்டு உரிமை மறுக்கப்படுவதை தடுத்திட மாவட்ட அளவில் அனைத்து கட்சி தலைவர்கள் மற்றும் மக்கள் பிரதிநிதிகள் பங்கேற்கும் கூட்டத்தை நடத்தி தீர்வுகாண உரிய நடவடிக்கைகள் மேற்கொள்ள வேண்டுமெனவும் கேட்டுக் கொள்கிறோம்
