வரிவிதிப்புக்கு உரியவர்களான இருவரும் குற்றவாளிகள் என தீர்ப்பளிக்கப்பட்டு, இருவருக்கும் வருமான வரிச்சட்டம், 1961 பிரிவு 276 சிசி மற்றும் 277-ன் படி நிருபிக்கப்பட்ட குற்றத்திற்கு, தலா 2 ஆண்டுகள் கடுங்காவல் சிறைத்தண்டனையும், தலா ரூ.50,000/- அபராதமும் விதிக்கப்பட்டது. மேலும், வருமான வரிச்சட்டம், 1961 பிரிவு 276C(1) மற்றும் 276C(2) படி நிருபிக்கப்பட்ட குற்றத்திற்காக தலா 2 ஆண்டுகள் கடுங்காவல் தண்டனையும், தலா ரூ 25,000/- அபராதமும் விதிக்கப்பட்டது. மேலும், இந்த தண்டனைகள் அனைத்தும் ஒரு சேர அனுபவிக்க வேண்டும் என்று உத்தரவு பிறப்பிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
