உழைக்கின்ற கை தாழ்ந்தது, உண்கிற கைதான் உயர்ந்தது என்கின்ற எண்ணம் எவருக்கும் இருக்கக்கூடாது. தெய்வத்திற்கு முன்பு இரு கைகளையும் இணைத்துதான் நாம் வழிபடுகிறோம். எனவே, ‘பிறப்பின் அடிப்படையில் பேதம் கற்பிக்கின்ற இந்த சாதிய பாகுபாடு கூடவே கூடாது’ என்று போதித்த சமத்துவ நாயகர் ஐயா முத்துராமலிங்கத் தேவர் தோன்றிய திருநாள் (அக்டோபர் 30 ஆம் தேதி) இன்று !
அடிமை வாழ்வினைவிட விடுதலைச்சாவு மேலானது; விடுதலை அல்லது வீரமரணம் என முடிவெடுத்து, தம் இளம் வயதிலேயே களம் கண்ட மானத்தமிழர். கைரேகை சட்டத்தைப்போட்டு ஆங்கிலேய ஆட்சியாளர்கள் நம்முடைய விடுதலை வேட்கையைத் தணித்துவிடலாம் என்று எண்ணியபோது, அந்தக் கைரேகை சட்டத்தை எதிர்த்துப்போராடி தகர்த்த புரட்சியாளர். தினமும் காலையிலும், மாலையிலும் கர்ப்பிணிப் பெண்கள், வயது முதிர்ந்தவர்கள், உழைக்கும் மக்கள், திருமணமானவர்களெல்லாம் சென்று கைரேகை வைக்க வேண்டும் என்ற இழிநிலையைச் சுமப்பதற்குப் பதிலாகக் கட்டைவிரலை வெட்டி எறியலாம் என்ற ஒற்றை வார்த்தைக்கு ஆயிரக்கணக்கான இளைஞர்கள் தங்கள் கட்டைவிரலை வெட்டி வீசினார்கள் என்றால், ஐயாவின் வார்த்தையே வாழ்க்கை என்று வாழ்ந்த அத்தகைய மானமறவர்களை தாயக விடுதலைக்குத் தந்த தன்னிகரற்ற தலைவன் நம்முடைய ஐயா தெய்வத்திருமகனார்.
தமிழர்கள் எங்களை வீழ்த்தியது, தமிழருக்குள்ளே இருக்கிற வஞ்சகம், சூழ்ச்சி, துரோகம், பதவிவெறி, பணத்தாசைதானே ஒழிய, வீரமோ -ஆயுதமோ இல்லை என்று அன்றே உணர்ந்து, உணர்த்திய பெருந்தமிழர் ஐயா பசும்பொன் முத்துராமலிங்கத்தேவர்.
எனக்கு பாய்தான் தெரியும், பஞ்சு மெத்தை தெரியாது; பதுங்கத் தெரியும், பயம் கொள்ளத் தெரியாது; விவசாயம் தெரியும், வியாபாரம் தெரியாது’ என்று வாழ்ந்த எளிய மகன். ‘தேசமே எனது உடல், தெய்வீகமே எனது உயிரென வாழ்ந்த தீரமிக்க விடுதலைப் போராளி. 100 ஏழைகள் கூடி ஒரு பணக்காரரை உருவாக்குகிறார்கள். ஒரு பணக்காரன், ஆயிரம் ஏழைகளை உருவாக்குகிறான்’ என்று போதித்த பாட்டாளி வர்க்கத்தினுடைய பங்காளி!
‘பாலை போத்தலில் அடைத்து இன்று விற்பதைப் போல நாளை தண்ணீரையும் அடைத்து விற்பார்கள்; விளைநிலங்களை எல்லாம் வீட்டுமனைகளாக்கி விற்பனை செய்வார்கள்; புறாக்கள் கூடுகட்டி வாழ்வது போல ஒரு நாள் மக்கள் வீடு கட்டி வாழ்வார்கள்’ என்று இன்று நடக்கின்ற இப்பேரவலங்களையெல்லாம் அன்றே கணித்த காலஞானி!
‘உண்மையைச் சொல், நீ உரக்கச்சொல், உறுதியாகச் சொல், இறுதிவரை சொல், நீ தான் சிறந்த தமிழ் மகன்’ என்று கற்பித்த பெருந்தகை. ‘மலர்மாலைக்கு ஒருவன் கழுத்தை நீட்டுவதைப்போல, மரணக் கயிற்றுக்கு எவன் கழுத்தை நீட்டுகிறானோ, அவன்தான் வீரன்!’ என்று எங்களைப் போன்ற தமிழிளம் தலைமுறையினருக்கு உணர்வூட்டிய வீரத்தமிழ்மகன் நம்முடைய ஐயா முத்துராமலிங்கத்தேவர் அவர்களினுடைய நினைவைப் போற்றுகின்ற இந்நாளில், அவர் காட்டிய வழியைப்பற்றி நடக்கும் தமிழிளம் தலைமுறையினராகிய நாம், அடிமை தமிழ்ச்சமூகத்தின் உரிமை மீட்சிக்கும், அதன் எதிர்காலப் பாதுகாப்பான நல்வாழ்விற்கும் இறுதிவரை உறுதியாகப் போராடுவோம் என்கிற உறுதியை ஏற்போம்!
