]]> சென்னையில் 2024 ஜனவரி மாதம் நடைபெறவுள்ள உலக முதலீட்டாளர்கள் மாநாட்டிற்கு அழைப்பு விடுத்திடவும், தமிழ்நாட்டிற்கு முதலீடுகளை ஈர்க்கும் நோக்கிலும், 23.5.2023 அன்று சிங்கப்பூர் சென்ற முதலமைச்சர் மு.க. ஸ்டாலின், தனது இரண்டு நாள் சிங்கப்பூர் அரசு முறை பயணத்தை முடித்துக் கொண்டு 25.5.2023 அன்று இரவு ஜப்பான் நாட்டின் ஒசாகா மாகாணம் வந்தடைந்தார்.

அதனைத் தொடர்ந்து 26.5.2023 அன்று காலை ஒசாகாவில், ஜப்பான் வெளிநாட்டு வர்த்தக அமைப்புடன் (Japan External Trade Organization – JETRO) இணைந்து நடத்தப்பட்ட மாபெரும் முதலீட்டாளர்கள் மாநாட்டில் முதலமைச்சர் கலந்து கொண்டு, தமிழ்நாட்டில் முதலீடுகள் மேற்கொள்ளவும், சென்னையில் 2024 ஜனவரி மாதம் நடைபெறவுள்ள உலக முதலீட்டாளர்கள் மாநாட்டில் கலந்து கொள்ளவும் அழைப்பு விடுத்து உரையாற்றினார்.

தொடர்ந்து, தமிழ்நாடு வழிகாட்டி நிறுவனத்திற்கும் ஜப்பான் நாட்டைச் சேர்ந்த டைசல் சேஃப்டி சிஸ்டம்ஸ் (Daicel Safety Systems) நிறுவனத்திற்கும் இடையே முதலமைச்சர் முன்னிலையில் புரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தம் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டது. கோமாட்சு நிறுவனம் கட்டுமானம் மற்றும் சுரங்க உபகரணங்கள் தயாரிப்புத் துறையில் உலகளவில் சிறந்து விளங்கும் நிறுவனமாகும். இந்நிறுவனம் தொழில்துறை இயந்திரங்கள், வாகன தளவாடங்கள், மின்னணுவியல் போன்ற பிற வணிகங்களிலும் ஈடுபட்டு வருகிறது.

இந்நிறுவனம், தமிழ்நாட்டில் கோமாட்சு இந்தியா பிரைவேட் லிமிடெட் என்ற பெயரில் ஒரகடம் சிப்காட் தொழிற்பேட்டையில் டம்ப் டிரக் (Dump truck), சுரங்க உபகரணங்கள், ஹைட்ராலிக் அகழ்வாராய்வு இயந்திரம் (Hydraulic Excavators) போன்றவற்றை உலகளாவிய தரநிலையுடன் தயாரித்து உள்நாடு மற்றும் சர்வதேச சந்தை தேவைகளை பூர்த்தி செய்து வருகிறது.

ஒசாகாவில் அமைந்துள்ள கோமாட்சு நிறுவனத்தின் உற்பத்தி தொழிற்சாலையை முதலமைச்சர் மு.க.ஸ்டாலின் மே 26-ம் தேதி பார்வையிட்டார். அப்போது அத்தொழிற்சாலையின் செயல்பாடுகள் குறித்த காட்சி விளக்கப்படத்தை (Power Point Presentation) பார்வையிட்டு, அந்நிறுவனத்தின்
உயர் அலுவலர்கள் டகாயுகி புரோகுஷி (Mr. Takayuki Furukoshi),
கோ கமாடா (Mr. Go Kamada) ஆகியோருடன் கலந்துரையாடினார். கோமாட்சு நிறுவனத்தின் உயர் அலுவலர்கள், இந்நிறுவனம் சர்வதேச தரத்தில் உபகரணங்களை உற்பத்தி செய்து ஏற்றுமதி செய்து வருவதாக தெரிவித்தார்கள்.

இச்சந்திப்பின்போது, சென்னையில் 2024 ஜனவரி மாதம் நடைபெறவுள்ள உலக முதலீட்டாளர்கள் மாநாட்டிற்கு முதலமைச்சர் அழைப்பு விடுத்தார். தமிழ்நாட்டில் உள்ள கோமாட்சு தொழிற்சாலையை விரிவாக்கம் செய்திடவேண்டும் அந்நிறுவனத்தின் உயர் அலுவலர்களிடம் கோரிக்கை விடுத்தார். அதற்கு அந்நிறுவனத்தினர் உரிய ஆய்வுகள் மேற்கொண்டு நடவடிக்கை மேற்கொள்வதாக தெரிவித்தார்கள்.
