]]> ஒவ்வொரு வருடமும் மே 20 தினத்தன்று தேசிய தேனீ வாரியம் மூலம் சர்வதேச தேனீ தினம் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது. இதை முன்னிட்டு, இந்த வருடம் மத்திய பிரதேசம் மாநிலம் வாரசோனி வேளாண் கல்லூரியில் தேனீ தினம் பிரமாண்டமாக கொண்டாடப்பட்டது இதில் அகில இந்திய அளவில் உள்ள தேனீ வல்லுநர்கள், தேனீ வளர்ப்பவர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டனர். இந்நிகழ்வில் தேனீ மற்றும் தேன் மதிப்பு கூட்டு பொருட்கள் கண்காட்சி அமைக்கப்பட்டு இருந்தது.

இதில் ஒரு பகுதியாக தமிழ்நாடு தோட்டக்கலை மற்றும் மலைப்பயிர்கள் துறையின் பரிந்துரையின் மூலம் சிறந்த தேனீ வளர்ப்போர் மற்றும் சிறந்த தேனீ வளர்ப்போர் சங்கம் என இரண்டு பிரிவுகளில் கலந்து கொண்டனர். இதில், ஒன்றிய வேளாண்மை துறை அமைச்சர் நரேந்திர சிங் தோமர், தேசிய அளவிலான விருது வழங்கினார். அதாவது, உலக தேனீக்கள் தினத்தை முன்னிட்டு 20.05.2023 அன்று வழங்கப்பட்டது.

இந்த விருது வழங்கும் விழாவில் குமரி மாவட்டத்தை சார்ந்த ஜி ஹனி நிறுவனத்தின் உரிமையாளர் வே.ஜினோ -க்கு சிறந்த தேனீ வளர்ப்பாளர் விருது மற்றும் சான்றிதழ் வழங்கப்பட்டது.

இதில், தமிழ்நாடு தேசிய அளவில் முதலிடம் பெற்றது. விருது பெற்றோர், இது தொடர்பாக இன்று (22.05.2023) தலைமைச் செயலகத்தில் வேளாண்மை-உழவர் நலத்துறை அமைச்சர் எம்.ஆர்.கே. பன்னீர்செல்வம்-த்தை சந்தித்து வாழ்த்து பெற்றனர்.

இந்த நிகழ்வில் வேளாண்மை உற்பத்தி ஆணையர்/அரசு செயலாளர் சி.சமயமூர்த்தி, தோட்டக்கலைத் துறை இயக்குநர் டாக்டர்.ஆர்.பிருந்தாதேவி, ஜி ஹனி நிறுவனர் ஜினோ மற்றும் பிரபு ஆகியோர் கலந்துகொண்டனர்.
