மதுவிலக்குத் துறை அமைச்சர் அளித்த நேர்காணலில், மது குறித்த மக்களின் விருப்பத்தை அறிந்து நிறைவேற்ற முயல்வதாக கூறியிருக்கிறார். அவ்வாறு செய்ய அவர் மது நிறுவனத்தின் அதிபர் அல்ல. மதுவிலக்குத் துறை அமைச்சர். அவர் நினைத்தால் தமிழ்நாட்டுக்கு ஒரு மகத்தான நன்மையை செய்ய முடியும். தமிழ்நாட்டில் மதுவிலக்கை நடைமுறைப்படுத்துவது குறித்து தமிழ்நாட்டு மக்களிடம் பொதுவாக்கெடுப்பை நடத்தி, அதன் முடிவுகளை செயல்படுத்துவது தான் அந்த நன்மை. அதற்கு தயாரா? என்பதை தமிழக அரசும், மதுவிலக்குத்துறை அமைச்சரும் தெளிவுபடுத்த வேண்டும்.
