கானா நாட்டின் தலைநகர் அக்ரா நகரத்தில் 4.10.2023 அன்று நடைபெற்ற 66 ஆம், காமன்வெல்த் பாராளுமன்ற சங்க மாநாட்டின் கருத்தரங்கில் தமிழ்நாடு கிளையின் பிரதிநிதியாக தமிழ்நாடு சட்டப் பேரவைத் தலைவர் மு.அப்பாவு கலந்துகொண்டு பேசியதாவது:

சட்டமன்றம், நீதிமன்றம் மற்றும் நிர்வாகம் ஆகியவற்றில் அதிகார பகிர்வுகள் மற்றும் ஊடுருவல்கள் குறித்து லாடிமர் ஹவுஸ் கோட்பாடுகள் 2003 ஆம் ஆண்டு உருவாக்கப்பட்டதிலிருந்து, பல காமன்வெல்த் நாடுகளில் அதிகாரப் பகிர்வுகளை உறுதிப்படுத்துவதிலும், நல்லாட்சியை மேம்படுத்துவதிலும் முன்னேற்றம் ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது என நான் கருதுகிறேன்.

இருந்தபோதிலும், காமன்வெல்த் நாடுகள் பலவற்றிலும், இக்கோட்பாடுகளை கடைபிடிப்பதில், பல்வேறு சவால்கள் மற்றும் தடைகள் நீடிக்கின்றன. இந்த கோட்பாடுகள் காமன்வெல்த் நாடுகளில் ஜனநாயக வளர்ச்சி மற்றும் நிர்வாகத்தை தொடர்ந்து வழிநடத்துவதை உறுதி செய்ய தொடர் முயற்சிகள் தேவை.

இந்த மாநாட்டில் பங்கேற்க எனக்கு வாய்ப்பு கிடைத்தது குறித்து என்னுடைய மகிழ்ச்சியை தெரிவித்துக் கொள்வதோடு, முதலமைச்சர் மு.க.ஸ்டாலின் அவர்களுக்கு எனது நன்றியை தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறேன். வணக்கம்!
