இந்தியாவில் 690 ஏகலைவா மாதிரி உண்டு உறைவிடப் பள்ளிகளை அமைக்க இந்திய அரசின் பழங்குடியினர் நல அமைச்சகம் ஒப்புதல் வழங்கியுள்ளது. தற்போது 401 பள்ளிகள் செயல்பாட்டில் உள்ளது. 401 பள்ளிகள் 1,13,275 மாணவ, மாணவியர் படிக்கின்றனர். அதில் ஆண் மாணவர் எண்ணிக்கை 56,107 மற்றும் பெண் மாணவியர் எண்ணிக்கை 57,168 ஆகும்.
தமிழ்நாடு:
தமிழகத்தில் விழுப்புரம், சேலம் , நீலகிரி, திருவண்ணாமலை, வேலூர், நாமக்கல் என ஆறு பள்ளிகள் செயல்படுகின்றன. மேலும், இருளர் மற்றும் பழங்குடியின மாணவர்கள் பயனடைவதற்காக, 17 கோடி ரூபாயில், மத்திய அரசின் ‘ஏகலைவா மாதிரி உண்டு உறைவிட பள்ளி’, வண்டலுார் அருகே கட்டப்பட்டு உள்ளது. அனைத்து வசதிகள் ஏற்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ள இப்பள்ளியில் இருளர் மற்றும் பழங்குடியின மாணவர்கள் தங்கி சேர்ந்து படித்து வருகின்றனர்.

முதல்வர் : 50 வயதுக்கு மிகாமல் இருக்க வேண்டும். மத்திய அரசின் விதிகளின் படி, இன அடிப்படையில் வயது வரம்பில் தளர்வுகள் உண்டு. முதுநிலை பட்டப்படிப்புடன் பி.எட்., படித்திருக்க வேண்டும். 12 ஆண்டுகள் பணி அனுபவம் இருக்க வேண்டும். Vice Principal / PGT / TGT பணிகளில் கலவையாக இந்த அனுபவம் இருக்க வேண்டும். இந்தி, ஆங்கிலம் மற்றும் உள்ளுர் மொழிகள் தெரிந்திருக்க வேண்டும்.
முதுநிலை பட்டதாரி ஆசிரியர் PGT: – 40 வயதுக்குள் இருக்க வேண்டும். மத்திய அரசின் விதிகளின் படி, இன அடிப்படையில் வயது வரம்பில் தளர்வுகள் உண்டு. ஆங்கிலம், ஹிந்தி, இயற்பியல், வேதியியல், கணிதம், உயிரியியல், விலங்கியல், தாவரவியல், வரலாறு, வணிகவியல் ஆகிய பிரிவுகளில் முதுகலை பட்டம் தேர்ச்சி பெற்றிருக்க வேண்டும். PGT(RegionalLanguage) : Marathi, Odiya, Telugu , Sanskrit, Bengali Santhali ஆகிய மொழிகள் மண்டல மொழிகள் என்ற அடிப்படையில் மொழி ஆசிரியர் தேர்வு செய்யப்படுகிறார்கள். அத்துடன் அந்தந்த பாடத்தின் அடிப்படையில் பிஎட் முடித்திருக்க வேண்டும்.
கணக்கர்: வணிகவியல் பட்டதாரிகள், 30 வயதுக்குள் இருக்க வேண்டும். மத்திய அரசு விதிகளின் படி இன அடிப்படையில் வயது வரம்பில் தளர்வுகள் உண்டு.
இளநிலை உதவியாளர் (தலைமையகம்) : 12-ம் வகுப்பு முடித்திருக்க வேண்டும். இந்தியில் 30 வார்த்தைகள் அல்லது ஆங்கிலத்தில் ஒரு நிமிடத்துக்கு 35 வார்த்தைகள் அடிக்க தெரிந்திருக்க வேண்டும். 30 வயதுக்குள் இருக்க வேண்டும். மத்திய அரசு விதிகளின் படி இன அடிப்படையில் வயது வரம்பில் தளர்வுகள் உண்டு.
ஆய்வக உதவியாளர்: 12 ஆம் வகுப்பு அறிவியல் பாடத்திட்டத்தை எடுத்து படித்திருக்க வேண்டும். அல்லது 10-ம் வகுப்பு முடித்ததுடன் லேப் டெக்னிக் குறித்து சான்றிதழ் அல்லது டிப்ளமோ படிப்பு முடித்திருக்க வேண்டும். விண்ணப்பத்தாரர் வயது 30 வயதுக்குள் இருக்க வேண்டும். மத்திய அரசு விதிகளின் படி இன அடிப்படையில் வயது வரம்பில் தளர்வுகள் உண்டு.
விண்ணப்பக் கட்டணம்: பள்ளி முதல்வர் பதவிக்கு, ரூ.2000, முதுநிலை பட்டதாரி ஆசிரியர் பதவிக்கு ரூ.1500, ஆசிரியர் அல்லாத இதர அனைத்து பதவிகளுக்கும் ரூ.1000 விண்ணப்ப கட்டணமாக செலுத்த வேண்டும்.
