]]>சென்னை சென்னையை அடுத்த ஆதம்பாக்கம் அம்பேத்கர் நகர் 3-வது தெருவைச் சேர்ந்தவர் சீனிவாசன் (வயது 40). ரவுடியான இவர் மீது கொலை உள்ளிட்ட பல்வேறு வழக்குகள் உள்ளன. இவர், தனது வீட்டின் அருகில் வசித்த உறவினர் மாரிமுத்து என்பவரின் 16-வது நாள் காரிய துக்க நிகழ்ச்சியில் 17-ம் தேதி இரவு பங்கேற்றார்.
பின்னர், வீட்டின் வெளியே நாற்காலியில் அமர்ந்து பேசிக்கொண்டு இருந்தார். அப்போது 2 மோட்டார் சைக்கிள்களில் வந்த 8 பேர் கொண்ட மர்ம கும்பல் சீனிவாசனை, கத்தி உள்ளிட்ட பயங்கர ஆயுதங்களால் சரமாரியாக வெட்டினர். இதில் தலையில் பலத்த காயமடைந்த சீனிவாசன் சம்பவ இடத்திலேயே ரத்த வெள்ளத்தில் பரிதாபமாக இறந்தார்.
தந்தையை வெட்டுவதை கண்டு அதிர்ச்சி அடைந்த சீனிவாசனின் மூத்த மகன் நாகராஜ் (17), இளைய மகன் பிரதாப் (வயது 15) ஆகிய இருவரும் மர்ம கும்பலை தடுக்க முயன்றனர். அப்போது மர்ம கும்பல் கத்தியால் தாக்கியதில் பிரதாப் வலது கையில் வெட்டு விழுந்தது. மகன்கள் கண் எதிரேயே சீனிவாசனை வெட்டிக்கொன்று விட்டு மர்மகும்பல் அங்கிருந்து தப்பிச்சென்று விட்டது.
காயம் அடைந்த பிரதாப், ராயப்பேட்டை அரசு ஆஸ்பத்திரியில் தீவிர சிகிச்சை பிரிவில் அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டு சிகிச்சை பெற்று வருகிறார். இதுபற்றி தகவல் அறிந்து வந்த ஆதம்பாக்கம் போலீசார், கொலையான சீனிவாசனின் உடலை மீட்டு பிரேத பரிசோதனைக்காக ராயப்பேட்டை அரசு ஆஸ்பத்திரிக்கு அனுப்பி வைத்தனர். மேலும் இதுபற்றி போலீசார் வழக்குப்பதிவு செய்து விசாரித்து வருகின்றனர்.
கடந்த 2014-ம் ஆண்டு நடந்த ஒரு கொலை வழக்கிலும், 2021-ம் ஆண்டு ஆதம்பாக்கம் பகுதியில் பிரபல ரவுடியான நாகூர் மீரான் கொலை வழக்கிலும் சீனிவாசன் சிறைக்கு சென்று வந்தவர் என கூறப்படுகிறது. இந்த இரு கொலைகளுக்கும் பழி தீர்க்கும் விதமாக சீனிவாசனை மர்ம கும்பல் கொலை செய்திருக்கலாம் என போலீசார் சந்தேகிக்கின்றனர்.
சீனிவாசனை கொலை செய்துவிட்டு தப்பிச் சென்ற மர்ம கும்பலை பிடிக்க மடிப்பாக்கம் போலீஸ் உதவி கமிஷனர் பிராங் டி ரூபன் தலைமையில் 3 தனிப்படைகள் அமைக்கப்பட்டு உள்ளன. கொலை சம்பவம் காரணமாக ஆதம்பாக்கம் அம்பேத்கர் நகரில் முன்னெச்சரிக்கையாக பலத்த போலீஸ் பாதுகாப்பு போடப்பட்டு உள்ளது.
இந்த நிலையில் இந்த கொலை வழக்கு தொடர்பாக 10 பேரை போலீசார் கைது செய்து விசாரித்து வருகின்றனர். மேலும் இந்த சம்பவம் தொடர்பாக ஆதம்பாக்கம் சட்டம்-ஒழுங்கு போலீஸ் இன்ஸ்பெக்டர் வீரமணி, பணியிடை நீக்கம் செய்யப்பட்டார். ரவுடிகளை கட்டுப்படுத்த தவறியதாக அவர் மீது இந்த நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கப்பட்டதாக போலீஸ் கமிஷனர் அலுவலக அதிகாரிகள் தெரிவித்தனர்.
